Guarantee Conditions

1. Scope

The guarantee only applies to the first official administration of the driving theory exam after purchasing the Premium package. Resits or exams taken before the purchase are excluded from the scope.

2. Conditions for Refund Eligibility

To claim the guarantee, the candidate must have fulfilled all of the following conditions prior to the date of the official exam:

• Completed Video Course: all 13 chapters of the video course must have been fully viewed and marked as completed on the platform.
• Read Complete Theory Book: all 13 chapters of the digital theory book must have been fully reviewed and marked as completed.
• Completed All Practice Questions Without Errors: all practice questions on the platform must have been completed without errors (0 errors) at least once. The candidate may repeat this as many times as necessary until the result is error-free.
• Completed All 20 Theory Exams Without Errors via «Simulate Real Exam»: each of the 20 theory exams (each with 50 questions) must have been completed without errors (0 errors) at least once via the «Simulate Real Exam» option. Only a theory exam completed through this method is considered valid; completion through any other method does not count. The candidate may repeat each theory exam as many times as necessary until it is error-free.
• Exam Date Entered in the Platform: the date of the official driving theory exam must be entered in advance in the «Guarantee» section of the customer profile on the platform.
• Official Result Form Submitted via Email: after the official exam, the candidate must send the official result form (not passed) via email to info@etheorie.be within 5 working days of the exam date.

3. How to Submit an Application?

Follow the steps below to submit your guarantee application:

• Log in to your account at www.etheorie.be and go to the «Guarantee» section in your profile.
• Check that all course components are marked as completed (video course, theory book, practice questions, and theory exams).
• Enter your official exam date prior to the exam, via the «Guarantee» section.
• After your exam: send your official result form (not passed) via email to info@etheorie.be with the subject «Guarantee Application, [your name]».
• We verify your application and will contact you by email within 10 working days.
• Upon approval, the amount will be refunded to your account within 14 calendar days.

4. Verification and fraud

eTheorie.be reserves the right to check all progress data on the platform when processing a guarantee request. This includes, among other things:

• The complete viewing and reading history of the video course and the theory book;
• The results of all practice questions and theory exams, including dates and times;
• The entered exam date and the submitted exam result;
• Login activity and IP data to verify normal usage (no shared account, no automated activity).

In case of suspected abuse, manipulation of progress data, or submission of falsified or manipulated exam results, eTheorie.be reserves the right to refuse the application and block the account. Fraud with exam results will always be reported to the police.

5. Exclusions

The guarantee is not applicable in the following cases:

• The candidate has already taken the exam before the purchase of the Premium package;
• The candidate has previously made an exam attempt via eTheorie.be for which the guarantee applied (the guarantee applies to a maximum of one exam attempt via eTheorie.be, regardless of the total number of official attempts by the candidate);
• Not all mandatory course components have been fully completed before the exam;
• The exam date was not entered in advance in the platform;
• No valid exam result was submitted by email within 5 working days after the exam date;
• The account is or was shared with other users;
• There is evidence of abuse, fraud, or violation of the General Terms and Conditions of eTheorie.be.

6. Amount of the refund

Upon approval of the guarantee request, the full purchase amount of the Premium package will be refunded. Any discounts applied at the time of purchase (e.g., via a promotional code) will be deducted: the refunded amount is equal to the actual amount paid.

The refund will be made via the same payment method as the original payment, unless otherwise agreed.

7. Submission deadline

The guarantee request, including the official exam result, must be submitted within 5 working days after the date of the official exam. Applications submitted later cannot be accepted.

8. Relationship with the General Terms and Conditions

These guarantee conditions are an integral part of the General Terms and Conditions of eTheorie.be. In case of contradiction between this document and the General Terms and Conditions, the General Terms and Conditions prevail. Belgian law applies to this guarantee scheme.

eTheorie.be reserves the right to change these guarantee conditions. The version that applies is the version that was in effect at the time of purchase of the Premium package.
